Host panelRun the game: contestants, questions, right/wrong, points and the timer. DisplayThe scoreboard screen. Open it in its own tab and share that tab in Meet. BackgroundsGoogle Meet virtual backgrounds for the host and each contestant.

Running a recording on Google Meet

  1. Whoever runs the game opens the Host panel. Set the contestant names in Setup and load the questions in Questions.
  2. Open Backgrounds and send each contestant their PNG (host gets the flashier one). Everyone uploads theirs in Meet.
  3. Click Open display ↗ in the host panel, then click the display once to go live.
  4. In Meet: Present now → A tab, then pick the display tab. Tick "Also share tab audio" if sound is on.
  5. Start recording in Meet. Drive everything from the host panel; the display updates instantly.

The host panel and the display must be open in the same browser on the same computer. Everything is saved in that browser.
